What You Will Do?
The Market Specialist (MS) plays a key role in reviewing high-cost or complex cost estimates for engine events and coming up with strategic, cost-effective solutions. They collaborate closely with Event Managers to ensure invoices are completed efficiently. The MS partners with the sales, credit, programs, and warranty teams to deliver the best commercial solutions.
To excel in this role, you should have strong verbal and written communication skills, be a critical thinker, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You must have the ability to adjust and manage priorities, have good time management skills, work independently, and obtain gratification from satisfying the needs of our customers. The person in this role will aim to balance operational goals with customer commitments while maintaining profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing profitability of customer events.
Understanding the impact of tariffs on engine events.
Analyzing cost estimates, invoices, and warranty applications.
Supporting Event Managers with complex cost challenges.
Resolving invoice disputes.
Ensuring compliance with export control and ITAR regulations.
Qualifications You Must Have ?
Advanced degree and 6+ months of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), general Finance or Data Analytics or Aftermarket MRO industry experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant industry experience
Qualifications We Prefer?
Degree in STEM field; Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or Business fields preferred.
Aftermarket Aviation experience ideally in spare parts business and warranty contracts
Familiarity with Sarbanes/Oxley requirements, Contracts, and Financial Reporting
Experience with SAP (or other ERP systems), and data analysis tools such as PowerBI
Microsoft Office and other productivity programs (i.e. Teams, Dynamics CRM, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
Understanding of continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma) as they apply to overall cost reduction and business profitability.
Ability to communicate and work across all levels of the organization.
Ability to build and maintain internal and external customer relationships

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role @type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
