Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join their team. As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate/ Assembler

Location: Cerritos, CA 90703

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour

What's the Job?

Shift: Monday- Friday from 6am- 2:30pm

Document inventory and quality management production data, including quantities produced, defects identified, and materials used

Assemble subcomponents of products, following detailed assembly instructions

Conduct visual inspections of the parts to check for pre-prescribed defects

Actively participate in meeting production targets and deadlines, which is essential in ensuring that the company can accurately and timely deliver customer orders

Monitor machinery and equipment used in manufacturing, such as molded parts, to ensure products are made to specification

Remove the parts from the machine manually

Correct certain defects, such as flash, using general tools based on engineering and quality feedback

Package finished products for shipping, including labeling and preparing items according to customer orders

Effectively allocate resources to ensure timely product delivery that meets the required specifications

Ability to set up, operate, and maintain equipment to ensure output meets established quality standards

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and cleaning schedules

What's Needed?

2+ years of Recent assembly experience

2+ years of Recent Material handling, inventory/ cycle counting

Visual inspection experience

Will frequently need to reach with hands and arms while standing and walking as part of the role.

Occasional lifting and movement of objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds may be required.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Familiarity with standard manufacturing practices and equipment.

Experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Basic knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing methodologies is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English **.
