The Omniseal Solutions division under the Mobility business is looking for an Engineering Technician to join the Saint-Gobain team.
The Tool and Die Maker - Sets up and operate a variety tools and cutter grinders, surface grinders, and manual grinder.
Read blueprints, sketches, specifications to properly grind tools.
Ability to use comparator and measuring equipment to inspect tools.
File, grind, and adjust parts so that they fit together properly.
Review tool for proper angles and clearances.
Smooth and polish the surfaces of tools for proper functions.
Ability to manufacture tool with verbal instructions.
Grind tool to detail drawing.
Ability to use machine shop equipment lathes mills.
Understand and operate CNC machines.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
GED/HS Diploma (preferred)
Must have 5 years Tool grinding/maker experience (required)
2 years AutoCAD or Solidworks drafting experience desired
Experience as a Tool and Die Maker apprentice

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour . This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $52,000 to $72,800 . Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.]
