As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in Bethesda, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a hotel and resort environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. You will also assist with access control and respond to situations as needed, reflecting our commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Sat11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Sun11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to guests and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel, resort grounds, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents.

Assist with access control and visitor management, following established protocols for the location.

Document and report all security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual occurrences according to site procedures.

Collaborate with hotel or resort staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for guests and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
