Job Title: Welder

Job Description

As a Welder, you will be responsible for following simple drawings and blueprints to set up and operate MIG welding machines. You will be required to make necessary adjustments to the machine and wire feed as needed. The primary focus will be on welding mild steel ranging from 16 gauge to 10 gauge.

Responsibilities

Perform assembly and tack welds for repetitive jobs.

Execute finish welds and tack welded assemblies.

Work primarily in down and/or vertical positions.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Certified MIG welder with experience in welding mild and stainless steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with 3G, 4G, and 5G welding positions.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a fairly clean, non-climate controlled manufacturing environment. While it can be a bit crowded at times, it is always maintained at a safe level.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
