Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Technical Order Entry Specialist to join their team. As a Technical Order Entry Specialist, you will be part of the operations team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Technical Order Entry Specialist

Location: Hanover, PA

What's the Job?

Enter, update, and maintain customer orders in the ERP system with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure accurate order entry.

Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to clarify order specifications and address any discrepancies.

Generate order confirmations and communicate timelines and any potential delays to customers.

Support inventory management by tracking materials necessary for order fulfillment.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant technical coursework preferred.

Proven experience in order entry or a similar role within a manufacturing environment; experience with sheet metal fabrication is a plus.

Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes.

Proficient in using ERP software.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
