Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Hanover, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within the organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting functions, particularly in a manufacturing environment, and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Record journal entries and maintain detailed documentation to support financial transactions.

Compile and analyze profit and loss statements, delivering clear insights into financial performance.

Prepare balance sheets and monitor accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Manage the cutoff process and accurately record company liabilities.

Utilize Microsoft Dynamics or NAV systems to support financial operations and reporting.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth financial processes within a manufacturing environment.

Assist in internal audits and compliance reviews to uphold financial integrity.

Provide support for additional accounting tasks as needed to meet organizational goals. Requirements - Must be a U.S. citizen.

Proven experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or NAV software.

Strong knowledge of account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

Familiarity with preparing profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
