Description We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Long Island City, New York. In this role, you will oversee full-cycle accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities:

Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and financial reporting.

Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, such as preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.

Conduct financial reviews and variance analyses, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.

Generate receivables reports, monitor aging accounts, and manage bad debt allowances in collaboration with the collections team.

Develop and refine payable procedures to streamline invoice approvals and payments.

Assist with compliance efforts, including audits, tax filings, and adhering to sales/use and franchise tax requirements.

Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with other departments to support long-term financial projects and organizational growth. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

5-10 years of experience in general ledger management and financial analysis.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated success working collaboratively across departments.

Results-driven mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs.
