Where you'll work:

This is a hybrid onsite/remote opportunity where you will report to the customer's location in Manassas, VA and have the flexibility to work from home based on business needs.

An average day:

The Contract Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and enhancing proposal and contract documents to ensure clarity, coherence, and compliance with client requirements. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with proposal managers, subject matter experts, and other team members to produce high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our solutions and capabilities.Additionally, In this position you will:

Review and edit contract content for grammar, punctuation, style, and consistency to ensure a polished and professional final product.

Ensure that all contract documents comply with client requirements, guidelines, and formatting standards.

Collaborate with proposal managers and subject matter experts to refine content, enhance clarity, and effectively communicate key messages and value propositions.

Manage multiple editing tasks simultaneously, prioritizing workload to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Proven experience in editing and proofreading, preferably within a proposal or technical writing environment.

Strong understanding of proposal or contract development processes and familiarity with government and commercial RFPs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
