Administrative Assistant for CPA firm

Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic CPA firm in Los Alamitos, California. This role involves assisting two CPAs and managing a high volume of tax-related documentation, making exceptional organizational skills a must. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and a passion for administrative excellence.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to two CPAs, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Organize and manage a large volume of individual tax returns and related documents.

Conduct accurate data entry for tax filings and maintain meticulous records.

Coordinate office activities, including scheduling and communication with clients.

Assist with personal tax return preparation and audits as needed.

Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and meet deadlines.

Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all tax regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with a team of seven to foster a productive office environment. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative support, preferably within a CPA firm or similar environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle large volumes of tax-related documentation.

Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.

Familiarity with individual and personal tax return processes.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Detail-oriented with a proactive and Type-A personality.
