Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Sr. Accountant to support our large and innovative marketing and branding client on a 3-4 month hybrid engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Sr. Accountant with a strong background in revenue accounting and process improvement to make a substantial impact within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily close activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions.

Conduct detailed contract reviews to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and internal revenue recognition policies.

Streamline reconciliation processes by reviewing revenue-related accounts, identifying discrepancies, and implementing improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sales, and Operations, to maintain accurate and actionable revenue data.

Lead or support key projects focused on enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of revenue processes.

Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue schedules to support financial reporting.

Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting on revenue trends, forecasts, and variances.

Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing revenue-related inquiries.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 5-7 years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on revenue recognition and process improvement.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.

Familiarity with ASC 606 and revenue compliance standards is essential.

Hands-on experience with financial close processes and account reconciliations in mid-to-large organizations.

Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP is highly preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
