Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Oxnard, California. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and data entry who thrives in a collaborative environment. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial processes.

Responsibilities:

Perform data entry tasks to support the accounting and accounts receivable teams.

Process invoices accurately and ensure timely billing operations.

Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) duties efficiently.

Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve workflows.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks, including data analysis and report generation.

Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.

Assist with preparing reports and summaries for management review.

Support the team in achieving monthly and quarterly financial goals. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting or clerical roles, with a focus on data entry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organization.

Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Ability to manage invoice processing and billing tasks effectively.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Familiarity with account reconciliation practices.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
