DIRECTV is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Marketing Advanced Analytics Manager with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building robust pipelines, performing advanced data mining, data engineering, and driving transparency through data auditing and visualization. This role will be critical in designing and optimizing pipelines on Databricks using Spark, Scala, Python, and SQL, while leveraging Snowflake for scalable processing and Tableau for reporting. You'll work closely with data consumers and engineering teams to ensure data integrity, audit compliance, and actionable insights.

Here's what you'll do:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and auditable data pipelines using Databricks (Spark/Scala/Python/SQL) and Snowflake.

Own the data validation lifecycle-including source-to-target reconciliation using Oracle, data profiling, and anomaly detection.

Conduct deep-dive data mining to uncover patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for business action.

Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau to support transparency and decision-making.

Implement data quality checks and automated alerting for pipeline failures, anomalies, and audit flags.

Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable data products.

Optimize existing pipelines for performance, scalability, and operational simplicity.

Document data lineage, pipeline logic, and metadata clearly and consistently.

What you'll need to be successful:

Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, business or related quantitative field preferred; Master's degree a plus!

3 - 5 years required, 7+ years of experience preferred in data engineering with a strong focus on ETL pipeline design, data auditing, and performance optimization.

Comfortable working in cloud-based data environments.

Excellent at aggregating and synthesizing data in information into insights, utilizing analysis and data visualization to tell a data story.

Expertise in Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, disparate data sets, data mining, data visualization tools.

Understanding of data quality frameworks, auditing standards, and lineage documentation.

Expertise in MS Office suite.

Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, must be capable of explaining complex information to others in a straightforward manner.

Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.

Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured data workflows

Required Skills/Experience:

Big Data Platforms: Databricks and/or Snowflake

Visualization Tools: Tableau and/or PowerBI

Data Pipeline Design, Auditing, and Validation

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $105,830 - $192,050

Low (N1): $105,830 - $158,650

Mid (N2): $111,400 - $167,000

High (N3): $122,540 - $183,700

Top (N4): $128,110 - $192,050
