We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on market research to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data to provide actionable insights that support our marketing strategies and decision-making processes. You will work closely with various teams to understand market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, ensuring our marketing campaigns are grounded in data-driven insights.
Essential Functions
Market Research
Conduct primary and secondary market research to gather information on market trends, competitive analysis, customer needs, and industry developments.
Monitor and analyze competitor activities, campaigns, and market positioning to identify competitive advantages and areas for differentiation.
Design and execute surveys, industry expert interviews, and focus groups to gather customer feedback, ensuring data collection aligns with business objectives.
Develop detailed customer personas and identify target customers based on research findings to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts that could impact our marketing strategies.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze market data, including sales trends, industry trends, voice of the customer, and competitive intelligence, to identify opportunities and threats.
Use tools and methodologies to interpret data and present actionable insights.
Prepare and present research findings in clear and concise reports or presentations to key stakeholders, offering strategic recommendations to inform marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing, to align market research with overall business goals and ensure research insights drive decision-making.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies, product positioning, messaging, and content development.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or a related marketing role (2+ years preferred).
Strong analytical skills and experience using research tools (e.g., surveys, focus groups, analytics platforms).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, SPSS).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to acquire, assimilate, and analyze data from multiple systems and data sources using a variety of business intelligence and reporting tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Additional Qualifications
Experience in conducting B2B market research.
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation platforms.
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Experience with market research platforms
