Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets.

Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts.

Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

Position Summary

ITT Habonim is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Wayne, NJ. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Financial Controller.

Essential Responsibilities

Variety of secretarial and administrative duties including but not limited to travel arrangements, lunches, and ordering / stocking of office supplies.

Daily customer invoicing / emailing monthly statements

Perform collection functions on past due transactions.

Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure timely collection and resolution of outstanding issues.

Work closely with? logistics to monitor and control shipments to accounts in delinquent status in an effort to minimize potential bad debts.

Investigate items in dispute (i.e. short payments, overpayments, deductions, etc.) with customers.

Conduct credit worthiness to approve Domestic or International orders within assigned authority levels by using the following tools: Dun & Bradstreet, Credit Reports, Trade reports, References, & etc.

Provide excellent customer service.

Data entry - Vendor/Inventory invoices

Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

3+ years of office experience

HSD or GED is required

Experience with credit and collections is required

Strong excel skills (formulas, macros, pivot tables, v lookups)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Problem solving and strong analytical skills

Accounting background is preferred

Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual salary range is $45,300 to $60,000, plus benefits and incentives
