The North Berwick Repair Operation (NBRO) has a rare opportunity for an Operations Manager position within operations team, and will report directly to the General Manager and is responsible for driving both the strategic and the tactical execution of meeting all deliverables for the cells within NBRO.
Reporting to the Operations Manager are salaried supervisors who have hourly employees reporting to them, and the successful candidate will play a key role in the tactical and strategic direction of the front-line supervisors, as well as have a key role in strategic decision making for North Berwick Repair Operations (NBRO).
The Operations Manager will have leadership responsibilities for entire systems, projects and programs across the operations part of the business and is fully accountable for P&L, staffing and operational results.
What You Will Do:
Demonstrate ethical leadership and compliance.
Managing and develop cell supervisory staff for all NBRO product cells across all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd, Weekend).
Support off shift employees to ensure they receive assistance and development.
Manage employee retention plus talent recruitment and development.
Work to reduce OSHA recordable rates by supporting all EH&S efforts and completing injury reporting processes in a timely manner.
Coaches' supervisors and hourly employees on continuous improvement methodologies and tools
Achieve key financial metrics such as sales, EBIT, On Time Delivery (OTD), Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
Work with all levels of management, employees and customers, and have key skills in leading plant wide (CORE) business progresses, lean manufacturing, project management, quality improvement, marketing & sales, and general business and operational analysis.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline with 12 years of experience in manufacturing or aerospace industry OR
Master's degree with 10 years of experience in manufacturing or aerospace industry
Experience leading teams of salaried and hourly employees
Experience leading large scale cross functional projects.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Aftermarket experience in a repair shop
5+ years of operational experience, supervisor experience with hourly and/or salaried employees and working with executive level management
Practical knowledge in leading and managing teams and the execution of processes and projects
Superior written and oral communication skills and demonstrated leadership skills
Aerospace/Avionics experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role @type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
