A qualified candidate for this position will have experience in and feel
comfortable driving in adverse weather conditions. Routes are often impacted
by both weather and traffic year round. They will also have some knowledge of
the streets and roadways in South Eastern Colorado, Colorado Springs,
Castle Rock, South Denver and Western Kansas. A qualified candidate will
have a natural understanding of urgency while maintaining exceptional customer
service and great attention to detail. Candidates must also be able to manage
stressful situations.
Employees will be responsible for transporting and delivering a high volume of
medical specimens, reports, supplies and slides.
Applicants should be quick learners with great attention to detail. Potential
couriers will be organized, self-sufficient, critical thinkers. The
ability to problem solve while maintaining a professional demeanor is a must.
Applicants should have knowledge of surrounding roadways within our
territory, feel comfortable navigating through traffic and have confidence
driving in inclement weather conditions.
Couriers use a handheld barcode scanning device, so applicants should be
proficient in and comfortable navigating handheld technologies
Couriers are required to maintain the cleanliness of vehicles. Carwash passes
and cleaning supplies are provided, it is the couriers responsibility to
wash, vacuum and clean their vehicle on a regular basis.
A qualified candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a
positive, friendly attitude.
