We are seeking Entry Level Product Review Engineer to join The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team located in Heath, OH.

This engineering position will be responsible for design, development, test and sustainment of electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical products and test equipment/software in support of the U.S. Strategic Deterrence Systems (U.S. Air Force Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, U.S. Air Force & U.S. Navy Guidance Systems and other military programs). Other duties can include providing engineering support for product sent for repairs from a variety of military (U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and foreign) customers. Engineering responsibilities include reviewing test data, directing repairs, developing process improvements, capturing process changes, and solving problems brought about with new workloads and part obsolescence. Close collaboration with program management, other functional engineering groups, operations and other functional counterparts is required.

Position Responsibilities:

Research and builds knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles in order to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues.

Assists with analyses, root cause analysis and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances.

Assists system owner in preparation of technical communications.

Identifies analyses fleet data, collects and evaluates data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product support issues.

Supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety.

Participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Assists with the design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structure to original design strength capability.

Works under close supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical engineering or physics

Prior internship experience

Experience or coursework in Robotics

Experience with troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $63,750 - $86,250
