Compensation range: $21.20hr - $28.84hr. Based on our Concord, CA office location. (West Yost uses geographic salary differentials that would apply for candidates in other regions).

This is a part-time, onsite position with a consistent weekly schedule. The role requires in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday (2 - 3 days in Concord, with 1 day in Pleasanton), with flexibility on the specific hours worked each day, as long as the schedule remains consistent. This opportunity could be a great fit for someone looking to contribute meaningfully during daytime hours-such as while children are at school or during retirement-while still maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
This position is not available for remote working.

As an Administrative Assistant, you'll be an essential part of our team, helping to keep the office running smoothly while making a great first impression on clients and colleagues alike.
What You'll Do
Serve as the first point of contact for guests and team members-greeting visitors, answering phones, and ensuring a positive office experience.
Provide general administrative support, including managing mail, assisting with expense reports, scheduling meetings, and ordering lunches for multiple locations.
Maintain an organized and welcoming office environment, including supply ordering and upkeep of kitchen and shared spaces.
Maintain company vehicle, including scheduling, maintenance, and recordkeeping.
Support project teams with printing and preparation of technical documents. (not often)
Assist with planning and supporting internal events and client-facing meetings. (at both offices).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, and Teams.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
High school diploma (or equivalent) required. 1-2 years of administrative experience preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires travel to other offices and/or client offices. Applicant must carry a valid driver's license. Applicant must also be able to meet West Yost's rules and be eligible to drive for business. West Yost's insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
