NOW HIRING: Warehouse Laborer - Shipping & Receiving

Location: Ware, MA

Compensation: $20/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Laborer to join our shipping and receiving team. This role involves handling, moving, and storing customer products with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Safeguard and handle customer products to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Accurately pick, stage, load, unload, stack, and relocate products.

Follow shipping instructions precisely when pulling and staging orders.

Maintain inventory organization and maximize warehouse space through proper product placement.

Inspect and report product condition, ensuring all items are free from contaminants.

Perform daily equipment checks and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.

Interpret and follow packaging instructions, using appropriate supplies and labels.

Verify label accuracy, positioning, and package weight before shipping or storage.

Unload deliveries and stock materials while recording accurate inventory details.

Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.

Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Follow instructions from supervisors and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Prior warehouse experience, especially with sit-down forklifts, is preferred.

Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Self-driven with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
