Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Mount Washington, Kentucky. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with company policies. If you excel in handling invoices, reconciling accounts, and working with financial systems, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices to ensure accurate coding and timely payment.

Perform account reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records.

Manage check runs and ensure proper documentation for all payments.

Enter financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.

Review and resolve discrepancies in invoice processing to align with company standards.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounts payable procedures.

Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP for efficient data management.

Maintain organized records of accounts payable activities for audits and reporting.

Support month-end closing activities by preparing relevant financial documentation. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles.

Proficiency with accounting software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

Strong knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.

Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards.

High level of organization and ability to maintain thorough records.
