Job Title: Machine Operator (Tube Bender)

Job Description

Join our fast-paced production environment where you will set up, adjust, and operate bending and/or laser machines. You will follow layouts and templates to ensure precision and quality in all processes. 1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm, M-Th. Fri OT

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and operate bending and/or laser machines.

Follow layouts and templates to set up machines accurately.

Check bent parts for tolerance using proper measurement and inspection equipment.

Remove and rectify parts that do not meet specifications.

Complete and document all required paperwork.

Perform first article inspections as required.

Operate hoist, cart caddy, and manual pallet jack efficiently.

Essential Skills

Minimum six months of metal tube bending experience required.

Proficiency in operating bending equipment and problem-solving.

Ability to operate and read a tape measure, calipers, protractors, blueprints, and process sheets.

Effective communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding).

Capability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility that is not air-conditioned, which can get hot. The role involves bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the day. Dress appropriately for a physically demanding environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $23.25/hr.
