Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of financial record-keeping and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.

Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Oversee and process monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

Handle bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring all entries are balanced and matched.

Monitor cash flow and assist with budget management and forecasting.

Prepare required tax filings, including sales tax, 1099s, and other related forms.

Partner with external accountants or auditors during tax preparation or financial audits.

Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for financial records.

Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.

Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
