Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.HDR is hiring a Senior Construction Inspector to support transportation projects in Kentucky.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelinesMentor junior field staff and provide supervision as neededCollaborate with other field representatives or Project ManagersRead and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documentsConduct and document observations of construction as it progressesServe as the most senior inspector on projects as neededPerform other duties as needed Preferred QualificationsTechnical school or Associate's degreeRelevant Industry CertificationsAbility to interpret construction schedules#LI-JS6Required QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent A minimum of 5 years experience Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) Strong written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team This position typically requires successfully passing drug-screening procedures prior to being hired; thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testing An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
