Maintenance Warehouse Coordinator

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be responsible for managing inventory within a warehouse or storeroom, utilizing the SAP system to accurately receive, issue, and track materials, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained while adhering to company procedures and safety guidelines; key duties include verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, entering data into SAP, picking and packing orders, performing cycle counts, and resolving inventory discrepancies, all while maintaining a clean and organized storage area.

Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming deliveries, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders and packing slips in SAP. Inventory Management: Stock items in designated locations within the storeroom, utilizing proper labeling and organization. Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders by picking and packing items based on SAP instructions. Kitting parts based off pick tickets. Data Entry and Reporting: Update SAP with relevant inventory data such as stock transfers, adjustments, and expiration dates. System Proficiency: Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items. Scan barcodes and input data into SAP to create goods receipts. Maintain accurate inventory levels by performing cycle counts and updating SAP accordingly. Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions when necessary. Generate picking slips and shipping documents within SAP. Issue materials to authorized personnel, recording transactions accurately in SAP. Generate inventory reports and analysis as needed, highlighting stock levels and potential issues. Possess a strong understanding of SAP modules related to inventory management (MM) and be able to navigate the system effectively. Utilize SAP functionalities for stock checks, batch tracking, and serial number management when required.

Advanced technical training or degree preferred or equivalent Prior experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment Proficiency with SAP inventory management modules Strong attention to detail and accuracy Advanced computer skills using Microsoft office software Ability to lift min. 50lbs. Able to operate a fork truck safely. Good communication and organizational skills
