As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join our Production team at our Mill Hall, PA site.
What You'll Be Doing:

You will be responsible for all production operations at the site including Esterification, Alkoxylation, Multi-
products, Blending, drumming and process technical support. This position will be responsible for safe operations of
production, efficient use of production personnel, compliance with environmental permits, adherence to cost budgets,
transfer of new products from Mill Hall and execution of the production schedule to support the business. This
position will work closely with the other members of the management team to achieve the goals and objectives of the
site. Perform all duties within the Company's safety, health and environmental regulations. All other duties as
assigned by management.

Key Duties:
Manufacturing
Efficient, high quality plant operation supporting of business requirements. Meet complex production schedule to ensure
production plan targets are met to support improving on-time delivery to customers. Ensure cost effective operation
driving for lowest unit cost. Drive continuous OEE and productive improvement tools through operations team
Achieve continuous reduction in utility usage per unit of production (steam/water/waste water/air/nitrogen)
Assure all production policies and procedures (SOP's) are accurate and followed.
Support maintenance activities and ensure they are sufficient to meet operational requirements. Support capital changes
to plant equipment.
Environmental, Health and Safety
Compliance with all environmental permits, health and safety regulations
Compliance with corporate and site-specific policies and rules through employee engagement
Continuous improvement of systems to achieve an injury free workplace and a high standard of housekeeping and
organization. Drive 5S and support VPP and behavioral safety systems. Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Hazard reviews -- PHA leader, drive MOC (Management of Change), technical support for significant plant modification
and improvement
Ensure thorough investigations of incidents and action closure, SHE training implementation, behavioral and
housekeeping audits are completed routinely.
Administrative Duties
People management and development -- goals and objectives, performance mgt, development reviews
Development of personnel requests and participate in recruitment
Proactively manage operations personnel performance and other personnel issues. Handle employee concerns, employee
progression, manage employee training and competency. Participate as active member in site leadership teams, VPP,
EDSI review, site safety committee and other site and business teams
Proactively drive site culture through operations to achieve safe and efficient performance
Experience required: Chemical Engineering or other technical degree with minimum 5 year's progressive experience
in specialty chemical manufacturing. Strong interpersonal, organizational and oral and written communication skills.
Education / specialized training required: BS in chemical engineering or other technical degree.
Must have oral and written proficiency in the English language.
Physical requirements: Able to walk, stand and sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Required to move throughout
production areas on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders.
