Job Title: Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant responsible for managing General Ledger activities to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports. This includes producing internal and external monthly financial statements, supporting annual audits, and assisting with budget forecasts.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.

Perform financial profitability analysis.

Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles in accordance with Honda Regional Policies, Standards, RFSA, and GAAP.

Process and oversee all accounts receivable transactions for the company and joint ventures.

Manage fixed asset accounting.

Collaborate in monthly financial close processes, reconciliations, and maintaining a strong internal control environment.

Handle asset management and capital reporting.

Respond to inquiries from the Accounting department.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

5+ years of experience in accounting, required within a manufacturing company.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Experience with accounts receivable and fixed assets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Master's degree is a plus.

Strong personality with a stable career history.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, 3 weeks of PTO, 16 national holidays, Six Sick Days, Four Personal Days.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Burlington,NC.
