IT Vendor Mgmt Specialist

As this is a hybrid role, working out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidate who currently reside in Northeast Ohio. The Vendor Management Specialist will work to ensure that American Greeting's Information Technology vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality services on time. The detailed and focused management of our key vendors is a critical component to the success of delivering an excellent customer experience to our internal and external customers. Our ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise technology procurement, contract negotiations and vendor relationship experience in a multi-vendor IT environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with internal stakeholders, lead/facilitate new vendor requirements gathering, selections and evaluations within hardware, software, cloud computing and professional service categories.

Assists with negotiating contract terms, conditions, modifications, incentives and remedies, while working with key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met

Facilitate dispute/issue resolution and escalation

Develop and execute standard onboarding, training and off boarding processes/policies for vendor staff

Assist in completing vendor audits

Lead support and subscription renewal processes ensuring value and right sizing of the environment is incorporated into the renewal

Review and monitor Vendor invoices to ensure appropriateness

Work closely with colleagues in IT and business operations to understand and meet their requirements and expectations of vendor performance

Develop vendor performance scorecards and monitor day-to-day vendor operations and performance against service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), examine measured results for problem determination and root cause analysis, and works with the vendors on continuous improvement

Ensure enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished

Maintain the list of preferred vendors and keep abreast of the vendor landscape to retire and replace vendors as the market changes

Facilitates the design, implementation, and management of process improvements to deliver increase in operational efficiency in all subcontractor processes

Focusing on continuously improving sourcing processes that align with business needs to ensure the best possible performance and outcomes for our internal customers
