Industrial Maintenance Technician - Electrical (Second Shift)

Location: Charleston, IL

Shift: Second Shift

Pay: $31.72 - $36.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance : Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshooting: Inspect, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Repairs: Conduct repairs on electrical components and systems, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.

Installation: Install new electrical components and systems as needed, including wiring, circuits, and control panels.

Upgrades: Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and reliability.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance personnel and departments to optimize efficiency and support overall operations.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for future reference and compliance.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; 480 volt technical certification.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.

Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

Equipment: Experience with PLCs, motors, and industrial equipment is a plus.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.72 - $36.00/hr.
