Job Description:
Serves as key financial business partner in assigned areas of responsibility. Provides support and advice in the strategic and operational decision making through insights that drive better business performance. Supports and reinforces key initiatives within the Finance department through education and communication with operational leaders. Supports the business to raise standards in key decision areas, taking a forward-looking view supported by a rich consulting toolkit and high emotional intelligence to help articulate different options and influence decisions. Performs a broad range of financial analysis and business plan responsibilities for assigned areas. Responsibilities include: Proactively conducting complex financial analysis on performance and potential new business activities; coordinating and performing a variety of complex financial analysis; serves as support for activities relating to physician compensation and production analysis as assigned; developing and maintaining analytical methodologies, tools, and data; providing technical expertise to other staff involved in data analysis; acting as a liaison between finance and operational leaders to ensure they have relevant tools and data and understand how to use them; Guiding the annual operating budget process to ensure timely and accurate fiscal planning; Reviews budget variances and works with leaders to ensure compliance. Analysts in senior roles primarily support Vice Presidents and senior leadership across the organization. In a senior role, analysts are expected to serve the organization as technical and subject matter expert for areas in which they work. Senior analysts work with a high level of independence and are expected to provide input and guidance to other members of the Finance team. They are often required to lead projects, develop and implement new methodologies and make recommendations to improve both the business and processes within the Finance team. They lead and work on highly complex projects with large degrees of risk and scope, often serving in the role of project manager. Analysts in senior level roles may provide day to day leadership and direction to assigned team members and participate in the annual performance review process. Senior analysts provide accurate and timely feedback to team members on their work performance, accomplishments and opportunities. Senior analysts are skilled in coaching team members to achieve optimal performance. In addition, senior analysts are expected to contribute to the team by serving the organization as technical and subject matter expert for areas in which they work. They primarily support Vice Presidents and senior leadership across the organization. They are often required to lead projects, develop and implement new methodologies and make recommendations to improve both the business and processes within the Finance team. They lead and work on highly complex projects with large degrees of risk and scope and are able to make assignments to team members with the appropriate scope and complexity, ensuring adequate resources and support are available.
Education Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, healthcare administration or related field.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Guidance: Serves as a key financial advisor to senior leadership, delivering insights that support business growth, cost optimization, and long-term planning
Advanced Financial Analysis: Conducts complex analyses, including forecasting, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling, to guide strategic decisions
Enterprise Collaboration: Partners with business leaders and executives to align financial plans with strategic objectives, ensuring financial insights inform key decisions
Project and Process Leadership: Leads high-impact projects, develop new methodologies, and oversees process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and resource allocation
Team Mentorship: Mentors and guides junior finance team members, sharing expertise, fostering skill development, and ensuring the team's success
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in finance, including significant experience in financial analysis and business partnering
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Strata, Workday) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for senior stakeholders
Strong leadership and communication skills to influence and drive change across the organization
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or relevant certification (CGMA, CPA, CHFP)
