FINANCE ASSISTANT The Arrowhead Regional Development Commission (ARDC), located in Duluth, MN, has a full-time, 30-40 hours/week Finance Assistant opening. The Finance Assistant is responsible for essential general accounting functions for ARDC including providing support for accounts payable, invoicing and reporting. Duties include processing financial data, bookkeeping, invoice processing, reconciling fund accounts, assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, payroll and establishing and maintaining ARDC Revolving Loan Funds (RLF) accounting and borrowing records. The position handles daily loan cash receipts and works closely with the financial accountant in the maintenance and reconciliation of the borrower ledgers, as well as general day to day processes for the organization. Adherence to grant compliance procedures and processes and the preparation of worksheets for the 1098 tax forms to borrowers. The Finance Assistant also supports the Finance team and provides administrative support to the Lending Consultant as needed. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Education/Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor s degree in a related field (no experience required); or an Associate degree (A.A.) in a related field with two years job-related experience; or a one-year certificate in a related field with three years job-related experience; or a HS diploma with four years of job-related experience. Salary: $20.00-$26.00/hour (based on experience) ARDC offers a competitive benefits package that includes health insurance (including family), dental, life and disability insurance, vacation and sick time, holidays and more.
