Robert Half is assisting a highly respected firm in Washington, D.C. in its search for a Full-Time Legal Administrative Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience supporting several attorneys, including some who work from different offices in remote locations.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive administrative support to a team of approximately 10 attorneys, including partners, counsel, and associates.

Manage complex scheduling needs, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless coordination.

Prepare and process expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Create and organize legal documents, such as assembling binders, drafting tables of contents, and conducting light research.

Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site visitors, including arranging conference rooms and coordinating catering services.

Collaborate with IT staff to facilitate virtual meetings using platforms like Microsoft Teams and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

Maintain and update case files and legal records using document management systems.

Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by attorneys to support case preparation and client needs.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in legal administrative support, preferably within a large law firm environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, and Word, as well as experience with tools like Concur and NetDocs.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Familiarity with legal processes and terminology is highly desirable.

Technological aptitude for using case management and billing software, such as Aderant or CompuLaw.
