Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Grove City, Ohio. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records.

QuickBooks experience is a must.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Reconcile account discrepancies and ensure all financial records are up-to-date.

Handle invoice processing, including verification and data entry into accounting systems.

Perform billing activities and ensure timely collection of payments.

Maintain and organize financial records and documents for easy access and audit readiness.

Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.

Collaborate with team members to support financial reporting and compliance efforts.

Assist in maintaining accurate records for a manufacturing facility.

Provide support in resolving accounting-related queries and discrepancies.

Contribute to process improvements within the accounting department.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related roles.

Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks.

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Familiarity with invoice processing and billing procedures.

Experience working in a manufacturing industry or facility is preferred.

Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and external parties.
