We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The primary function of this role is to support accounts payable processing in a corporate environment, with a focus on maintaining accurate customer credit records and resolving customer inquiries. This role is based in the office with the potential for a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.

Key corporate invoices into Business Central 365.

Work in coordination with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Maintain accurate records of customer credit.

Prepare necessary correspondence regarding payment approvals and line-item coding.

Enhance the system's efficiencies and security by assisting with the testing and implementation of technology solutions.

Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

Capability to manage and maintain the Fixed Asset Ledger

Proficiency in using Business Central 365

Ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently

Experience in approving invoices in line with company policy

Proficiency in coding invoices in a timely and accurate manner

Experience in entering invoices into accounting software accurately and promptly
