Position Summary:

This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will be responsible for coordinating Finance Projects at Oak Orchard Health (OOH) to help with the financial management strategy by supporting the CFO in all strategic projects and process improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist CFO with review of compliance with all state, federal and/or local regulations with respect to all finance Policy and Procedures.

Coordinate and streamline the insurance credentialing process by successfully completing initial and subsequent credentialing packages as required by commercial payers, Medicare and Medicaid

Updating and maintain databases as required in the insurance credentialing process

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders related to special billing programs such as Sliding Fee Schedule process

Maintain up-to-date data for provider in credentialing databases and online systems; ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications.

Payer, vendor and other contract review and negotiations

Assist the CFO with annual budget process

Maintain continuous lines of communication keeping CFO informed of all critical issues

Other Finance duties as needed.

Requirements

Skills / Qualifications:

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Must be familiar with nonprofit finance and accounting regulations

High attention to detail and extremely organized

Proficient with MS Office, specifically excel

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, non-profit/grants accounting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education / Experience:

BS in Finance/Accounting or related field plus three (3) years' experience in related position.

Skills / Qualifications:

Salary Description

$28 to $29 hr based on experience
