Finance Manager:

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced individual to join our dynamic Finance team as the Finance Manager. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this position provides a unique opportunity to collaborate across investment, and operations teams while engaging with senior leadership. The role will require occasional travel.

Primary Responsibilities:

Liaising with investment teams on funding/disbursements, and transaction recording.

Oversee the preparation and review of annual and quarterly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Mentor and manage entry level staff members, fostering their growth through training and guidance.

Proactively manage cash flow, including forecasting and communication with leadership for status updates.

Conduct in-depth calculations and analyses of financial performance.

Drive enhancements in financial controls, documentation, and record-keeping processes.

Coordinate efforts with external service providers, including, but not limited to auditors and tax specialists.

Support CFO and senior leadership through ad hoc analyses and participate in additional tasks as required.

Requirements

Ideal Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a record of outstanding academic achievement.

5-7 years of cumulative experience within finance or accounting roles.

Preferred certifications: CPA or CFA.

Demonstrated ability to work across departments and successfully lead cross-functional initiatives.

Leadership experience and a proven ability to mentor and manage team members.

Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills.

Upholds high ethical standards and integrity in all work activities.

Experienced in identifying and implementing process improvements in scaling organizations.

The capacity to effectively multitask, meet deadlines, learn quickly, and articulate ideas clearly.
