Quality Engineer Test Management

CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer Test Management opening for our client in Columbus, OH.

Location: Remote

Duration: 7 months

Duties:

Assign testing tasks to testers based on their skill set and availability.

Ensure effective communication among team members to share updates, challenges, and feedback.

Provide guidance and support to testers during the testing process.

Oversee test planning, test execution, and defect management activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, and project managers to ensure test coverage and quality goals are met.

Monitor and report on test progress and results, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Continuously evaluate and improve test processes and tools.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.

Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Proficiency with test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar.

Ability to analyze complex systems and develop effective testing strategies.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

2+ years in a test management or team leadership role.

Experience in managing distributed testing teams is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $30/hr. to $38/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
