Finance Intern

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

To support the finance team in a manufacturing environment by assisting with cost analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and data entry. The Finance Intern will gain hands-on experience with plant operations, cost accounting, and inventory control while contributing to process improvements and financial accuracy. This role is ideal for a motivated student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, who is eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Complete one or more projects in the following areas: raw material inventory auditing and reconciliation, general documentation updates and process review/streamlining, fixed asset inventory, capital project organization and process optimization.

Project management tasks will consist of project design, implementation plan, data collection, data analysis, presentation/report writing and a final presentation to plant management.

Additional duties will include working with the plant finance team and corporate teams. - Assisting with day-to-day Finance activities.

Assisting with month-end close activities.

Data entry as assigned.

Other tasks as necessary in support of the team and business.
