Our team is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join them. You will report to the Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.

To be considered for the Manufacturing Engineering Technician opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

Associate's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering or equivalent

1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, planning and fabrication

Experience working with AC/DC motors, actuators, hydraulic pumps, valves, electro-mechanical assemblies and accessories

Knowledge of materials, outside processes, NDT and specifications related to precision aerospace components and systems

Knowledge of design/drafting practices, geometric tolerancing, and proficiency in reading mechanical drawings

Effective communication and technical writing skills

Formal problem-solving methodologies

Strong computer skills including MS Office, 2D & 3D CAD

As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will:

Interpret complex mechanical drawings, schematics and technical specifications to evaluate product designs to develop manufacturing work instructions, processes, routers, procedures and test protocols

Develop proto@type/pilot manufacturing builds to test and evaluate product and process designs and revisions.

Works in close collaboration with other engineering teams, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Quality in the launch of new products and the manufacturing support and improvement of existing products

Develop and design tools and fixtures, research and specify manufacturing machinery, equipment and systems

Create and maintain accurate mechanical drawings, schematics, technical specifications and manufacturing process documentation

Provide documentation and training on assembly methods, test procedures and production equipment

Conduct failure analyses to resolve manufacturability or quality issues

Perform machine and maintenance and high-level troubleshooting

Provide technical assistance in matters of applications, products, materials, equipment and processes

Salary Range:

$60,000-80,000/year, based on experience
