New York Power Authority (White Plains, NY) seeks IT Resiliency Analyst to provide direction and develop information technology strategies, policies, and contingency plans to anticipate, prevent, and respond to technology interruptions. Responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of a Business Resiliency Recovery Program including disaster recovery planning, risk assessment, testing, and ongoing process improvement. Develop/code technology solutions to support IT Service Management (ITSM) strategies and business requirements. Install, configure, and maintain APM tools for enterprise applications and infrastructure, and integrate across all individual applications for an end-to-end perspective of performance and monitoring. Support all activities necessary to enable the company to anticipate, prevent, and respond to technology interruptions including Disaster Recovery-related contingency planning while unifying technical resources in the event of service disruptions or operational risks. Enhance and execute testing and recovery planning strategies for various business and technical groups, ensuring best practices in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR). Publish and maintain ITSM-related processes, policies, workflows, and procedures. Assist in monitoring compliance with IT standards and processes. Implement Continual Service Improvement (CSI). Leverage established metrics and KPIs to continually help in improving IT service delivery. Assist in the implementation and support/operation of the IT CMDB and the IT Service Catalog and provide ITSM tool governance and administration as needed. Publish daily/weekly/monthly/yearly ITSM-related metrics and perform trend analysis. Generate Ad-Hoc reports as needed. Setup/Build dashboards that summarize enterprise application and infrastructure performance trends (Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports). Collaborate with Application/Ops/Engineering teams to configure custom dashboards/alerts/reports as needed. Monitor responsiveness and availability of critical enterprise applications from an end-user perspective. Setup up alert mechanism to notify application/infrastructure teams of deviations from the defined threshold and integrate with tools like ServiceNow for incident creation and tracking. Confer with subject matter experts to understand the current monitoring mechanism, identify gaps, and recommend industry best practices. Make effective use of monitoring tools to improve root cause analysis effectiveness and correlation of events. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a computer-related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure and/or IT service delivery, to include experience in cybersecurity and leading incident responses, experience utilizing Application Performance Monitoring Tools (e.g. OpManager), IT ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow), and Log Management Analytics (e.g. Splunk), and experience implementing application integrations through standard protocols (e.g. REST, PowerShell, and/or SSH).
