Are you detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to contribute to groundbreaking scientific research? We are seeking a Laboratory Administrative Assistant to support GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) studies by handling critical administrative and technical tasks. This role requires familiarity with scientific terminology and strong communication skills to coordinate study documentation and liaise with external partners.

Pay: $19-$22/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Professionally communicate with clients, answer phone calls, and relay messages.

Receive and manage incoming deliveries, ensuring proper documentation.

Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments.

Perform general administrative tasks, including ordering office/lab supplies, scanning, and typing documents.

Assist in the preparation and organization of study files for GLP studies , including initial document collection and electronic file setup.

Create data forms and necessary cover sheets for study use.

Transcribe data into spreadsheets for accurate study documentation.

Support Study Directors by preparing study protocols and reports.

Archive study folders to maintain regulatory compliance.

Log and track test samples and chemicals.

Assist with study processing and additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with relevant administrative experience.

Strong technical writing and editing skills.

Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office Suite, and other computer software.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Prior experience in a scientific, research, or laboratory setting is a plus.
