We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Ocean County, New Jersey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced healthcare office by managing essential financial processes. Candidates with a strong background in accounts payable and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Process and accurately enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring timely payments.

Assign appropriate general ledger codes to invoices and maintain accurate records.

Manage incoming mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it to the appropriate departments.

Reconcile purchase orders with invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

Assist with month-end closing tasks and provide support for audits as needed.

Communicate effectively with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.

Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and documentation.

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements - A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Experience with coding invoices and reconciling purchase orders.

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Familiarity with general ledger systems and financial processes.

Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
