For more information, visit: www.gpinet.comResponsibilities:Performing analysis and design of bridge elementsPreparing cohesive and organized structural calculationsDetailing and drafting of structural elementsAssist with geometric layout and quantity developmentDeveloping task deliverables for review by a Senior EngineerPerforming tasks according to the assigned schedule and budgetWorking independently under the guidance of a Senior EngineerProvide direction for team members as neededParticipate in bridge inspections, perform load rating calculations, and assist with report writingQualifications:0-5 years of bridge engineering design experienceB.S. in Civil Engineering degree is required, and an M.S. is preferredEngineer-in-Training Certification preferred, with a desire to obtain PE licensureBasic knowledge of applicable codes and standardsBasic knowledge of general-purpose structural analysis programsBasic knowledge of computer-aided drafting programsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office productsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent organizational skillsPositive attitude and good work ethic with a desire to work in a collaborative environmentRequirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team membersAble to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying
