Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Analyst who embodies these qualities and is ready to step into a dynamic role. This is a contract role ~ End of September.

Job Description: As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations with precision and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. You will collaborate with various departments to facilitate payroll implementation and process optimization, ensuring employees are compensated efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees accurately and on time, including Gross-to-Net calculations.

Handle payroll implementations, upgrades, and transitions seamlessly while identifying process improvements.

Perform payroll audits to ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.

Reconcile discrepancies in payroll data, including tax filings, benefits deductions, and wage garnishments.

Manage related reporting, including payroll tax filings, direct deposits, and retirement contributions.

Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.

Requirements

-Qualifications:

Experience: Must have experience with ERP Frontline Escape software

Proven experience in payroll processing, with a strong emphasis on Gross-to-Net calculations.

Hands-on experience with payroll implementation projects, including frontline payroll transition initiatives.

Strong knowledge of payroll systems and accounting principles.

Familiarity with multi-state payrolls and tax regulations is highly desirable.

Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups) are an asset.

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation, or working toward certification, is a plus.
