Job Title: Paint Line Helper

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Paint Line Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for properly hanging and arranging metal parts on racks or conveyors, ensuring optimal paint coverage, and collaborating with paint line operators, loaders, and quality inspectors. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality while maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities

Properly hang and arrange metal parts on racks or conveyors according to specifications

Ensure correct part orientation and spacing for optimal paint coverage

Identify and follow job travelers, part numbers, and work orders

Inspect and clean hangers and hooks; replace worn or damaged ones

Work collaboratively with paint line operators, loaders, and quality inspectors

Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Assist in training or guiding new team members as needed

Essential Skills

Bilingual abilities

Previous experience on a paint line or in a manufacturing environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Basic reading and math skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
