Job Overview

TE's Medical business unit, part of the Industrial Solutions segment, offers medical device OEMs, a complete product offering and capability portfolio for minimally invasive, imaging, surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic devices. Responsibilities

Ownership of manufacturing processes related the production of heat shrink tubing.

Perform root cause investigations and execute corrective actions for non-conforming products using analytical tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D.

Write technical documentation, such as process instructions, process validation plans and reports, process development plans and reports, and non-conforming material reports.

Execute process validation activities following the IQ, OQ, and PQ approach.

Lead cost reduction projects in cross-functional teams.

Collaborate effectively with others across the organization to collectively achieve business objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).

Communicate effectively through written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual methods.

Adhere to quality and compliance standards to ensure safe and effective use of the products TE manufactures.

What your background should look like:

BS in manufacturing or mechanical engineering, or related engineering degree - equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

3 or more years' experience supporting a manufacturing environment

Track record of project completions that deliver business results

Demonstrated problem solving skills and a passion for applying statistical methods (i.e., six sigma, SPC) to improve process controls.

Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus

COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $83,000 - $103,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
