As an Dir Commodity Marketing Operations, you will oversee several operations teams in support of commodity marketing and trading function related activities. You will lead asset management, and will be responsible for the valuation of assets, transactions and commercial opportunities including transportation, storage, physical and financial options, and for the management of complex structured transactions across all industry sectors. You will also oversee natural gas scheduling and a team of schedulers responsible for the movement of natural gas across dozens of pipelines across the US and a few in Canada. Responsibilities/Expectations:
Carries out wholesale asset management strategy, including physical and financial, storage and transportation, and base and add-on agreements to drive financial and operational performance
Runs our gas scheduling function and ensures the team is well positioned to support and deliver on trading strategies
Maintains and grows relationships with key counterparties, partnering with commercial teams as applicable
Identifies and negotiates new opportunities to expand the portfolio, while working to renew and extend existing arrangements
Develops and communicates detailed reporting and analytics related to structure activities, asset management performance, talent development and readiness, and other topics
Leads a diverse group of commercial leaders in the development, implementation and maintenance of key performance indicators; Leads efforts to interpret data and collaborates with leadership to develop action plans
Coordinates market intelligence, commercial, origination and business development leadership; Assists in prioritization of workload consistent with our highest priority trading strategies

Education/Years of Experience:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Engineering or similar; a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the energy/gas industry, commodities marketing and trading, deal valuation, asset and/or customer relationship management, or similar
Preferred: Master's degree, MBA, or related
Other Requirements:
Demonstrates outstanding organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Preferred: Thorough understanding of natural gas infrastructure, players, and financial and physical commodity markets
Preferred: Excellent quantitative skills with the ability to tell a compelling story and/or influence others with data
Preferred: Proven problem-solving skills with natural curiosity and willingness to challenge status quo
Preferred: Compelling leadership approach that sets vision, defines expectations, creates and maintains high performance, and develops and champions talent
