We are in search of a competent and experienced Litigation / Appellate Legal Assistant to become part of our law firm client's team based in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be tasked with supporting a team of four litigation attorneys by managing various tasks including case management, billing functions, calendar management and court filings. This opportunity is in-office.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently and accurately process client-related paperwork, maintaining a keen eye for detail

Utilize Case Management Software to oversee and manage client cases

Handle court filings with precision and in accordance to legal requirements

Organize and manage the attorneys' calendar, ensuring all appointments, court dates and deadlines are properly noted and docketed

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring all their inquiries are addressed

Execute billing functions with accuracy and timeliness

Maintain clear and effective communication with all levels of the organization and clients

Proactively manage civil litigation processes, taking appropriate action where necessary

Ensure client details and records are accurately maintained and kept up-to-date.

Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Litigation / Appellate Legal Assistant

Proficient in Case Management Software

Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently

Experience in Calendar Management

Strong Client Relations skills

Excellent Communication abilities, both written and verbal

Familiarity with Civil Litigation procedures and terminologies

Experience in Calendar - Docket management

Familiarity with Court Filing processes and rules
