Sr. Financial Analyst

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst based in Plymouth, Minnesota. The incumbent will be instrumental in leading the financial planning and analysis activities, creating insightful reports, and collaborating with various internal teams to foster business growth. This role will also involve supervising entry-level analysts and aiding executive leadership with strategic projects.

Responsibilities:

Steer the yearly budgeting process while ensuring regular updates on operational results and cash flow

Design and manage diverse reports including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

Formulate and sustain monthly financial reports, operational KPIs, and other tools for enhancing business visibility and insights

Cooperate with Sales, Operations, and other teams to aid business expansion

Liaise with local operational branches to facilitate business analytics, detect and resolve issues, and proactively pinpoint opportunities

Guide entry-level analysts and oversee delegated tasks

Proactively spot opportunities for value creation through financial analysis and analytics

Assist the executive team and investors in planning and quantifying strategic projects

Collaborate with the company's M& A / Integration leaders to assist with the onboarding of new acquisitions, their integration into the company's systems and processes, and drive value creation. Requirements - Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

Proficiency in business systems and Confluence

Experience with CRM and Crystal Reports

Knowledge of data mining techniques

Familiarity with 'About Time' software

Proficient in accounting functions and auditing

Experience with budget processes and capital management

Expertise in Excel formulas, Excel VBA, and Excel

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting

Understanding of balance sheets, including balance sheet reviews

Proficiency in cash flow management, modeling, reports, and statements

Strong skills in financial reporting

Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Business Central

Understanding of profit and loss statements

Ability to conduct ad hoc analysis, financial analysis, and reporting.
