Job Title: Sales AdministratorJob Description

This position will be the primary internal support partner with the west coast sales team and product line managers to handle quote and sample requests and inquiries.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and accurate communication on all price and product availability requests to internal partners.

Receive and process orders, understand the specific product and shipping requirements, and transmit this information to the appropriate functions within the business.

Monitor daily status of all late or held orders, looking at alternatives for timely delivery through other shipment methods.

Communicate and interface with Product Marketing and Sales.

Support internal representatives with sample requests and sales reports.

Maintain customer master data in the ERP system.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the General Manager.

Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for the General Manager.

Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Assist in the preparation and scheduling of meetings, events, and meals.

Coordinate and communicate with internal departments.

Assist with operational success and documentation.

Manage and prioritize incoming communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail.

Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the General Manager.

Assist with ensuring a smooth operation when the General Manager is not present.

Essential Skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Experience within purchasing, logistics documentation and tracking, customer service, or account management.

Strong customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in providing administrative support.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Work Environment

Office environment within a manufacturing facility - clean and comfortable. Monday to Friday, 1st shift hours (can be flexible). Business casual dress code (jeans okay).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
